Nigel Holden - Senior Partner

Nigel Holden qualified as a solicitor in 1971 founded Nigel Holden & Co in 2004 having previously been the Senior Partner at Farleys Solicitors for over 20 years. Nigel was born in Blackburn and was educated locally at Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School, before studying at Kings College London and latterly at Nottingham University when he was awarded his MBA. Nigel specialises in the following areas of law:- Residential Conveyancing, Commercial Property and Business Leases. He is also a Notary Public.

Carol McIlwaine

Carol has a vast experience in dealing with personal injury claims, large and small. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives Advocate. She has extended rights of audience in the Civil Courts and certain Magistrates court matters. Carol is a member of APIL – the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and CPIL – the College of Personal Injury Law.

Carol is also a distance learning Tutor in Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure. This firm supports Carol in undergoing extensive public duties as Vice Chair of the Independent Monitoring Board for Prisons. She is also one of the few National Tutors for Members of the Independent Monitoring Board.

Dana McIlwaine

Dana, a qualified Solicitor has recently been admitted to the firm as a Partner. Dana and Carol create the perfect team with their vast knowledge and enjoyment of their work. They ensure a friendly service in meeting the needs of the clients and maximising claims to obtain a very successful outcome. Together they are a formidable duo!
